Method

What ArrHub does before a record is published, and what it does not do.

A record on ArrHub comes from a primary source and is checked against that source before publication, under this method. Structured records are re-fetched and compared field by field; text records are quoted and the quotation is confirmed on the page it came from. A record carries a link to the agency record it was checked against.

Records are classified as electrophysiology devices by the editor, working against a written protocol. Applicants are resolved to owning organisations through a verified alias table. From 24 September 2026, each classification records who confirmed it and which version of the protocol applied.

Context figures, such as base rates, timelines and comparisons across registers, are computed from the verified records and state their method, sample size and date. Analysis is labelled as such, is written by the editor, and concerns classes of records, never the prospects of a named company or a pending application.

Language models propose identity matches for review and rank links that have already been retrieved and verified. They do not transcribe, summarise or write any published fact. The editorial framing of each issue is written by the editor.
